Cat 5 | People often refer to Cat 5e cabling as "Cat 5". "Cat 5" can also be used as a general term for all RJ45 based copper cabling (which includes Cat 3, 5, 5E, 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 8.) |

PDU | Power Distribution Unit. Normally located at the back of large cabinets or the bottom of smaller cabinets. PDU's are what you plug your devices in for power. | |
UPS | Uninteruptible Power Supply. A device that provides power to other devices, even when the power is cut. Every server should be powered by a UPS to avoid issues from blips tp the power supply. Routers and switches are sometimes powered by UPS's depending on the site and the business. | |
